DURINI 2 UP, Retail

MH WAY, 1999

In 1999 the first MH WAY shop was expanded. Through the creation of a new staircase the first floor, initially used as working space, is connected, renovated and transformed into a shop. The iron staircase is made from a laser-cut drawing plate. The layout is characterized by the use of an innovative material: honeycomb aluminum sheets that allows to create furnishings and displays with very thin profiles. The finishes and coatings used, partly more traditional and partly more contemporary, such as resin and parquet recovered for the floors and aluminum and plexiglass combined with fabric panels for the vertical surfaces offer unexpected visual comfort.
