Equiseto, urban installation
Neri, Enel Sole and Expo Milano, 2015
The project consists of four 7-meters high installations that become a relevant reference point in the Expo area. Their name, Equiseto, recalls a medicinal plant, known since ancient times for its beneficial properties, which communicates the power of life and plant energy at the base of our diet. Thanks to the RGB LED sources programmed to emit a variable light in intensity and color, each of these structures, in its shape and color, seems to live its own life through a sort of luminous breath, a colored pulsation where the light represents one dynamic and architectural tool. The colors chosen taking up the food tones of grapes, pomegranate, olive, wheat, tomato and citrus fruits.
