GRAND GOURMET, Knives set
WMF, 1994
“In Japan there is a cruel habit between the Yakuza: if a mistake is made, the little finger of the right hand is cut to weaken the hold of the dagger or sword … The knife had to be well-gripable, to have a strong, single-material appearance and so all in stainless steel. ” Grand Gourmet, designed in 1994, has been awarded in 2019 because it is recognized as a collection of kitchen knives with a timeless elegance that can be used to easily slice any type of food thanks to the handle and attention to detail that guarantee a balanced weight and good quality balancing.

It is considered as a collection of assorted professional kitchen knives and able to meet all cutting needs. The handles of the Grand Gourmet knives are in hollow Cromargan, which is why they are very light, resistant and hygienic. They are extremely ergonomic and able to adapt perfectly to the shape of the hand. The line includes different types of knives. The line is completed by the sharpener, scissors and some special knives such as the Santoku, which with its large surface is able to fillet even the most nervous cuts of meat and to easily transport the ingredients from the cutting board to the pan.
