The fabric, a soft and tactile material with which we are constantly in contact since birth, does not inherently have a three-dimensional shape. With this project the fabric itself becomes a container. It adapts to use and gives rise to two sustained, light and resistant three-dimensional shapes obtained without the traditional construction by means of stitching. Impronta was born from this desire, from the spirit of exploring the new, both technologically and formally.

The production of the backpack shells is obtained through the technology used for the production of bras: a sandwich of expanded polyethylene between two sheets of hot-pressed elastic polyester. The use of this technology for a new sector and exploited to reach larger dimensions than previously used, has stimulated and anticipated new application possibilities that have subsequently spread in the sector of furnishings and interiors of cars.
