Navigator, virtual terminal
Seccose, 1999
Navigator is designed to be more than a piece of furniture, a space dedicated to the relationship with the virtual dimension. A proposal for a “navigation” home station made with a tubular metal structure, shelves, containers and seat shell in Alucobond, a material consisting of two aluminum alloy sheets and a coupled black polyethylene core, extremely light and resistant. Stable but lightweight, the station is equipped with an external covering in washable micro-perforated fabric that partially reduces the ambient light. The ergonomic seat is covered in leather and adjustable in three positions.

The Secco Sistemi company, a well-known Italian brand in the production of integrated systems for galvanized steel windows and facades, decides to enter the furniture products market by exploiting the available technology related to metal processing, thus Seccose was born. For Seccose Makio Hasuike & Co designs the Navigator smartworking station, the Bond chair, the Calibro and Palafitta bookcases and the Metra table.
