RE BAG, bags
The RE-Bag series of bags is designed to contain and transport the power cable of electric car batteries. At the base of the project, at the service of sustainable mobility, the use of materials and technologies with low environmental impact.
Depending on the way of positioning the cable inside, the bags differ in “organized” models, which provide for the guided positioning of the cable in a defined position and “container” models, for a less constrained cable insertion.
The chosen material is the polyester felt defined eco / green because it derives from a recovery process and can be used for new life cycles as it is totally recyclable. This feature gives the product an aesthetic randomness in the coloring, differentiating it from standardized products and thus becoming an added value, expression of the cultural change.
The research of materials has been carried on together with the study of the technology suitable for making containers with certain performances in terms of consistency and deformability.
Each model has an exclusive design with a family feeling obtained through rounded shapes that support the positioning of the cable and the printability of the shells, realized by thermoforming process.
All models of bags are water repellent. This feature has been obtained by applying, following the molding, a nanotechnological treatment both on the internal and external surfaces. Each bag might be completely disassembled for total recyclability.
